Huge apologies to everyone! Sorry for the radio silence over here and a big thank you to Renee for stepping in and posting! I'm getting over a terrible chest cold that I caught on my plane ride, it took a week but I am feeling 100% better!
My trip to see Renee in Japan was amazing as usual! We went to Tokyo Disneyland (my first trip to Disney ever! No judging!) and it was everything I imagined. The only down point, the heat. Ask Renee, it was pretty damn awful, but besides that, I had a blast!

Cinderella's Castle, gorgeous! |
But Ill get back to that later, I am here with an actual beauty post!
I bought this Elf quad a few months ago, looked at it and of course it got shuffled away with my way to many eye palettes. I knew that with a good primer, this palette would look gorgeous, and I think I was right!

Not to bad for 2 dollars! |
The colors blended nicely, fall out of course, but very minimal. The pigmentation was surprising, the third purple down was very nice and looked like the actual color in the pan! I recommend this palette for girls who are starting wit make up and do not have a lot of money to spend, for 2 dollars you really get your money's worth. I have to add that of course to finish it up I used my Urban Decay Perversion liner, which is also a great black to use. Not as good as Zero, but up there!
Ah, I live in Southern Cali and I have yet to go to Disneyland!!! Your eye shadow is super cute :)

Yay, welcome back wifey! ::whew:: It was a lot of work holding down the fort myself-but I had some fun too :) That eyeshadow looks *amazing* on you! For $2 that is definitely worth it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes-the weather was insanely hot and humid.. but we still managed to have a blast <3
:Blushes: Im going to have to use it more often since its surprisingly amazing! :not to pat myself on back, but yes it is: LOL
DeleteThank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I love this eye shadow the colours fab but it's not too over powering either xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks:) it def isnt overpowering! I have so many eyeshadows that i love but when i put them on, i end up wiping them off because i feel like its too much!
DeleteLove the purples. I don't play too much with brighter purples, I should though the look good all together!

Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog. :) I wish you luck on the makeup diet too, although it doesn't seem you need it! :P That eye look is lovely; I hardly wear purples but you seem to wear them really well! And the palette is super duper cheap xx
ReplyDeleteThank you for following back! I don't know about Erika (well.. ok I kind of do haha) but I definitely need a makeup diet-if you only knew how out of control it is! With a few exceptions I've been doing well-so far ;)
DeleteYes! I need a make up diet seriously. My problem is that I buy a lot at once and then dont buy for a long time. But thats going to stop. Im doing some serious purging this weekend when my sister michelle comes, shes leaving with a nice bag full of makeup goods!
