Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar (older version)

I know its been a while since I've posted, but I've been going through a lot lately family-wise, so please forgive me. This body spray is in no way new, but I keep getting compliments on it lately so I thought I'd post it here :)

I got this originally in a set from my mom that included a mini spray, mini lotion, and a mesh bag. I loved it so much that I used it up super fast (well it was a mini lol) and I had always been meaning to pick up another bottle. I have read that they have since reformulated the spray along with changing the packaging, and now has a lighter scent and less staying power.. this makes me sad :( Lucky me that I found a full sized original bottle for only a buck in a discount store when I was in NY! I'm just afraid to use it up now..

Original product description from B&BW:
"Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath and Body Works is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women. middle notes are coconut, vanilla and rice; base notes are sandalwood, musk, vanilla and heliotrope"

I find it odd that there is musk in there, because I strongly dislike musky scents. I don't detect it, so it's not a problem to me :) For me it has a warm, brown sugary-vanilla smell, and I love it, especially in the winter months. It reminds me of cookies baking! I get complimented on it a LOT, and I'm gonna have to hit the evil bay for another bottle when this one's done.

Little extra: I forgot to share this about a month ago! My husband loves penguins. I mean LOVES penguins, which is rare for a guy, so I think that's super cute. When I was in Ulta with Erika after Christmas, they had a sale on Christmas items, and when I saw this, I just had to grab it! It's by Simple Pleasures, and inside there is a body wash and body lotion, both caramel cream scented. Too cute!

  1. Hi Renee :)

I used to like some of the bath & Body Works body splashes but as of late I just find that they quickly turn into pure alcohol...shame.

By the way, I'm not sure if you've heard or been to this restaurant in Shinjuku that has actual live penguins!! I believe the restaurant is called Ryotei. I've been waiting to go to the place for the last two years, I too love penguins, actually, I love all animals :)

Here is a link for the restaurant:

I think this would be a great place to take your man :)

I hope this isn't too forward Renee, but is your husband Japanese?
