Bio Oil, will it stand the test of time?

As you may or may not know, I had surgery to remove a broken/dying bone in my foot back in February. Well, it left a not o pretty scar right on the top of my foot, along with a non related scar that I already have, my foot looks less than awesome.

While in Target, Erika suggested this product to me. The claims: Skincare product infuses skin with rich moisturizers to hydrate and nourish. Bio-Oil Specialist Skincare for scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, aging skin (not sure what it would do for that..), and dehydrated skin. Can also be used as an after-sun treatment and bath oil. The directions on the bottle say to apply twice daily for a minimum of three months. It doesn't say what kind of results to expect.. but I'm hoping at the very least the redness will decrease. I've been using it for around 3 weeks now, so far no change..but I'll give it the full 3 months before I review it.
